About Nandhi

Tapasyogi Adiyen Nandhi is a visionary, a yogi, an artist and a musician. He was born and raised in South India. He completed his Masters degree in London. In 2002, he moved to the USA after nearly two decades of rigorous yogic training and meditative practice under the guiding influence of several enlightened masters who are from the lineage of the Siddhars. From them, he learned the secret wisdom of an unbroken lineage of several thousand years of tradition. Nandhi was initiated into advanced yogic practices that are seldom known outside the Siddhar initiate's circle.

The "Siddhars" are realized Sages who are venerated throughout India. The Siddhar teachings are undiluted in their yogic wisdom and free from collective intellectual ego. The Siddhars represent "the India that is not known" and the many of their unique yoga teachings are not in printed matter. The root word "Siddhi" means "Powers of Perfection". One who has Siddhi has a mind that enables miracles. A Siddhar is one who has mastered the power of the mind aligned with Source.

Representing the Sages of South India in the ancient wisdom of Oneness, Nandhi was graced with a vision - the Ariven Community. Ariven means "Awakened" and the members of this community are those who have a conscious concern for the world, the environment and all the inhabitants within it. Ariven Community is a non-profit international community that creates self-sustained global animal sanctuaries based on the principles of Ahimsa (peace, non-killing, non-violence, Oneness) in order to abolish world hunger. The outcome is a giant step for humanity in the collective Oneness of being able to end hunger and at the same time, create a world that has more compassion and a health conscious humanity.

Nandhi created Turiya Yoga, which is a compilation of his years of study, and incorporates the Siddhar forms of yoga and meditative practice that he has learned over the years.

Nandhi developed www.nandhi.com as spiritually oriented website offering a large source of information and wisdom about the Siddhars online. He has also produced several CDs. The debut album, Turiya Nada "Cave of the Siddhars" is a journey up the chakras using ancient Siddhar chants, chanted by Nandhi in a meditative state. The background of carefully selected instruments, such as the didgeridoo, synchronizes with the breathless deep resonant chants. The effect is a powerful, transforming music experience for the listener that is magically transforming for not only those seeking music for yoga, meditation and relaxation but also just about anyone due to the phenomenal energies as resonance within the recordings. Turiya Nada "Cave of the Siddhars" has been calibrated by Conscious Media Data Base (CMDB) as being one of the highest in kinesiology vibrations ever. According to Dr David Hawkins, vibrations of over 500 heal and 800 is enlightenment. "Cave of the Siddhars" calibration broke the limits beyond 1000. Nandhi’s other CDs are SivaSivaa, which is a meditative journey and Invoke the Masters, a sequel to Cave of the Siddhars.

Nandhi's art portrays the inner teachings of the ancient yogic wisdom of his lineage and the Siddhar Sages. His work can be seen on www.nandhi.com/gallery.htm . Each of the paintings came alive through intense meditations. These paintings are the inner visions of the perfected beings of light, the Siddhars. While painting, Nandhi allows the Siddhars to guide the mind through each stroke, the colors, the shade and the inspiring energies of the Inner Vision.

Nandhi currently devotes his time to the building of Ariven Community and Amma Sanctuary, the first animal sanctuary, located in South India. He also teaches Turiya Yoga and operates several yoga oriented businesses which are all tied to various charity projects. He is also involved in producing new CDs and DVDs in order to be able to reach more people with the empowered Siddhar teachings. He lives in Santa Monica with his mystical and nurturing/inspiring wife, Padmavathi.
