About EDRA
Established in 1969, the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) is an international organization whose members include researchers, educators, and professional practitioners in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and facility planning.
EDRA's mission is the advancement and dissemination of design research with the goal of improving understanding of the interrelationships between people, their built and natural surroundings, and helping to create environments responsive to human needs.

The annual conference provides a forum for discussions, debates, and sharing of information and ideas related to environmental design research, design, design education, and professional practice. This is the largest global conference focusing on architectural and planning research as well as programming, master planning, and post-occupancy evaluation.
